Do you think that happens a lot.. daytime, star48? I mean we hear about that..he left me for a younger woman, but I don't really see it happening... Yes, I have heard of it but usually it is for a different woman not necessarily younger.I know so many people that have been divorced at least once. I cannot think of anyone off hand that has not been divorced. But that has not been a factor in my freinds or family members that were divorced, the men just choose a different woman. There is a big trend now for men to date and marry somewhat older. |

I can see from your posts that you ladies really do give a damn about the modern trend in marriages .I want to say thanks! It's nice to know .I was serious when I said before there were5out of 6 marriages in the x's family that ended in divorce .All but one for superficial reasons ,and if you look back into they're past it goes even further .My own lasted 27 yrs. It's a disturbing trend that upsets me all the time because I think it leans towards a destructive trend to the family structure and will therefore break down society in general if it continues .Lets hope it does'nt happen !Thanks Ladies for shareing just my experience thats all !

"Superficial reasons." I will bet, if you talk to any psychologist, therapist, etc. with 20 or more years of experience, they will tell you THAT is the scariest trend of all. Divorce has become so prevalent in our society that people are not wanting to work out the simplest of differences. I could be wrong, but my guess is, that is the case for the majority of divorces in our time. |
