As to footwear......who dresses for others? Who decided that the footwear police may not approve of the selection of the day? and quite frankly, who gives a toss....methinks the dressing for catching the eye of the man, being the only reason, went out the door with crinolines and corsets and bustles... 
well it might be just me but i feel that most people dress for others and if they dress for themselves and no one else the bars/clubs and work would be beyond casual Well, damn, I need to go put my platform heels, micro mini and tube top back on, since most people dress for others- I just know that will make me look sooooooo sexy to the big strong men!!!!!!
