Okay, I am the kind of person to be able to figure things out on my own,
so therefore I am hesitant of the responses. Here it goes. I had a
special someone for about 7 to 8 months and it was going great. I had
made up my mind that I wanted to go into the military,(after talking to
my special Someone) and I never really got a response on how that person
felt. So therefore I joined and now we are no more. After that whole
ordeal I have been a lil shakey when it comes to chating/hangingout with
females and I just can't seem to get back into the "Game". I mean by
the pics u can tell I am a pretty good looking guy and I just can't seem
to find me a new person. So I guess what I am asking is maybe any
advise? Better yet anyone available? (P.S. I'm a Marine.)

For the past relationship it should have been addressed. My advice would
be the next time soething that important comes up in a relationship,

inthe swervice,especialy at this time, some of it has to do with the
worrying if you will be comming back or not, they fear the phone call or
the notification that something happened toyou, which can cause a lot of
stress. She may also have thought you were more interested in the
service than with her, I am only guessing at this, since I dont know the
whole story.But give women a chance, dont let your life be filled with
hurt over this, there are stronger women out thewre and dont hate your
ex for breking off the relationship, just move on with you life. In
1969, after I was married for 4 years, I decided to go back in the Army
snf ernt to Nam and that is how I know of the stress that a woman faces
when that happens. Just be carefull with the next woman that comes into
your life, and make sure how she feels about you being in the Marines,
