      Kim....
I am so sorry, I wish I knew what to say to make you feel better. I was diagnosed with uterine cancer a few months ago. With being 49 this year, my OB/GYN thought that it would be a good idea that I have a complete hysterectomy. She said that I would have ovarian cancer in a couple of years if I didn't take care of it NOW. The oncologist that I went to said that there was a 75% chance that it has spread. For the weeks that followed until my surgery I was on an emotional rollercoaster. He assisted my OB/GYN the day of surgery. It DID NOT spread at all, and I am cancer FREE!!!! Thank you, God. Please email me and let me know how she is doing.... IT WILL BE OK -Joanne

Kimi....you'll find as i am sure you know how, hundreds of pages
millions even maybe..on this subject.. her chances are good under simple conditions i don't know what her individual history is so there is no way to tell. AND NO ONE SHOULD OFFER YOU MEDICAL ADVICE ONLINE.ethically speaking. there are plenty of recovery stories, i know of many personally, but each was a little different. do your homework get second opinions ask questions based on what you've learned and choose the options . no matter how much i love alternative medicine, this is not something to consider in such a case...but should definitely be used as a component to the healing process during the chemo and thereafter. i wish you strength....you know where to find me. alex

I am sorry to hear these news about your sister. Bear up, Kim. There
are many success stories, and your sister's will be one. My mother had a hysterectomy in 1991. It never spread. And I am talking about a woman that is also a survivor of Lupus. Prayer is the best antidote. I will be praying for your sister's health and for you to find peace of mind and the strength to support her through this ordeal.

That's why I said it, I feel so bad, for some reason I can't stop crying. It was so hard before surgery not knowing. But every day now...is a better, more positive day. Knowing that all the cancer is gone. -Joanne
