Google is your friend....just type in Wilmington,NC and a wealth of informative sites pop up. I live in Wilmington and enjoy it ,however it all depends on what you are looking for as to weather you will or not. I will tell you that the job market is not so great right now..but who knows what it will be like in a year.
There are a lot of community events...free concert series, festivals, farmers markets ect. There is a growing Arts community here as well as a film studio. UNCW is located here(10 minutes from the beach) and Cape fear Community College . The Cape Fear River runs at the edge of Historic Downtown and has a lovely river walk flanked by shops and restaurants.

Thanks for that info. I visited Wilmington last year. Of course i must say it was to sight see the places where the show one tree hill was filmed. But just being in the city i fell in love. It really is a perfect place. The job market is low everywhere. But i work for walmart so its easy to transfer to another store. That way i can have a job when i move, but continue to look for a better job. My thing is searching for a place to live.
