Baby boomers are the generation(s) of children born after WWII (1944-45) to about the mid-60's, depending on whose definition you use. My mother is a baby boomer. I was born in 67, so missed most definitions by a few years, I fall in the early years of "Generation X". Someone who is 48 or 49 would technically fall into the category of baby boomer.
