Something horrialbe wrong this day (omg i sound so old lol)it seem like the folk under the age of 25 are all about sex they dont who it is or what they got . I would think with a the std's and all the other things like rape and kidnapping at all time high , the younger folks would be smarter. I know when i was younger i was havIing a share of sex but now there all kinds of little girls tring to show there little bit of body off to the world on every socail site, and it like the word hoe and ***** are the greatest thing to be call . why is that . why are so many younger folk so sex driven , are there they tring to find love and attention and just going about the wrong way . or are the really about just havin sex is a ok thing now . New age, new tools at our fingertips...it would be no different if they were to have the same technology in the 60's. STD's have always been around, well, except for HIV. Hey, why don't we group another age group together...like the 30 somethings that know everything yet are incapable of fixing anything... lol that soooooooooooooooo funny that suck cuz it ture the eveny funnier part is that my gen is more than like to be the cause of this we did kind this the gun and the bullet with the way the some (NOT ALL) parents partied right along side and did nothing so they can be the cool parent in the hood |

You can even go so high as the 40-50 something age group, it all started there anyway...face it, generations before us created the generation we currently are...if someone is not happy with it, maybe they should of thought of that awhile ago before they started changing things that worked for years. Generations evolve, that is a fact...the direction that it evolves is very well in your control...but like your above post, no one really wants to believe they have that much control over the next generation when in fact they do. You can't blame one generation for the fallout, the fallout was created by many generations it just happened to all fallout in our current generation. No one screamed to the high heavens when the media started its sex and glamour glitz on primetime, no one shouted when the music started in with a sexual innuendo, but everyone threw up arms when the movies or video games portrayed violence...a little backwards don't you think? |

Its the lack of attention. Nowadays you have single parents raising kids and most gels lack that fatherly love. Read that somewhere, that's Y I keep my grls close and giv them all the attention they need. Crazy society we live in. It's funny you say that I've noticed that too Young girls with no father present seeking sexual attention from boys and men You see it too? Not all girls without fathers around seek the father figure attention..... I am a single parent ( I was married ) went through a separation from the ex husband when I was 4 months pregnant with the second child. My daughter ( now 20) thinks boys are a waste of her time, she is a dental nurse, attends university in the hopes of becoming a dentist, she clearly states she knows boys mess with your head.She has also become a "target" for the boys who would like to "get with her" she and I have such a laugh over this, because as she says "mum, they are all wasting my time and theirs" |

There is a fair amount of truth in what Fear says..it started with us back during the sexual revolution with womens lib, birth control and a new generation of freedom. I have raised 3 boys and 2 of them are still virgins, not all young people are out of control...

For someone who is molested at age three, sex becomes part of life. The more children who are sexually abused, the more sex will be an issue in the younger generation. Music, tv, movies, media, and the internet all hype it up. Sex is a natural thing. But the point is that children need to learn safe sex. Most sex programs scream abstain from sex, when teens are going to have sex anyway show them protection, and how to use it in every sexual encounter. That could help prevent the spread of stds and teen pregnancy numbers could go down. There are various forms of birth control, but only one form protects from stds as we know. So if they are only protecting against pregnancy, through the pill, they are not being safe.

That is the best you can do, but for every million parents that teach and prepare their youth...there is another million that would rather the government or a third-party resource teach and prepare them. The problem I see here is that we see more of it because there are more outlets for people to use, again, it would be no different in the 60's if the same outlets were available then. What the focus then needs to be is using the outlets properly, everyday millions of people abuse the internet or TV...and everyday millions more are trying to use them as a teaching tool instead of entertainment. However, even with that in mind, there will never be that perfect center...we will always have millions more that simply don't care either way. |
