The fog sets in...I step out onto the patio to immerse in it, naked.
White, dark, glimmering blanket draping over me, warm yet cold...shivering, trembling. I breathe deep and slow, sucking in the damp morning clouded-over air, whetting my tensed lungs...and lips. Bathing...as intended by goddesses that be... Eyes close halfway, as dew begins to collect on my lashes as on petals cloaked in the night... I am most alive...at this moment, my skin…awake. My soul...departs...to out-of-body places. While my body remains...in static, electrified...state...and waits. |
