puking as 1-800 psychics begin their pleading
retching between the car commercials
yet, sometimes I want to go out and buy one
just so I can have THAT kind of promised life
we know the ones, those sickening ones:

"BUY ME!!BUY ME!!BUY ME!!
I REMOVE ALL STRIFE!!"

as we all go driving off to the sun,
we'll spit and shout over the better ones
driving off to the sun, T.V.'s broke, get a better one

droning in, puking out,
jealous after the show, the one on what life is all about

droning in, fading out

overstuffed on electronic garbage

A blessing of banality will be the charge

it's not on T.V., it won't be on any day....
so many mindless slugs overrun this place
poison the slop they eat, wear a smiling face

....my favorite show is on, we can do it later,
