I simply couldn't do that to Jake. He's been there for me through everything in the last five years. When I have been so lonely that I started to feel it wasn't worth it, he let me know everything would be ok. When I was so happy I thought I would burst, he was happy right along with me. No matter what, he's ALWAYS happy to see me when I come home from work. if it came down to a choice between keeping him and living in a slightly less than perfect place, and having to get rid of him to live in a nicer home.... I'll stay right where I am.
