I love it . ![]() i was in Calgary several times and the sin taxes were wuite high .. liquor and cigarettes although you don't drink beer i am betting there are lots of people that have this impact them ![]() |

I have American friends who saved for 4 years to afford the hospital stay when they had a baby. There were complications and the baby didn't survive ... and I don't know if they will ever dig their way out of the hospital debt that ensued ... It is all relative ![]() |

I am very aware of the issues and open about them - I also know that the way the government is trying to solve them isn't going to work. A problem can't be solved by the same mind that created it. It happens everywhere... That doesn't mean that I am not still grateful for what we do have ![]() |

What's good about my country?
It's big....and the human population is relatively small. It's an island in the middle of nowhere. The only traditional culture is the Indigenous one....the rest is a melting pot of every culture. It's wild and tempestuous....untamed and unforgiving. Our animals are unique. It's diverse and all encompassing. Big skies. Long views. It's home. ![]() |
