Sometimes, things happen in life. We move on. We make a new life. But lately, people from a time in my life I put behind me keep popping up again. People who represent things I don't want in my life anymore. They are ruining my belly dancing and drumming now. They ignore me. I ignore them. We do that phony polite thing that people do when they don't want to let the past interfere with other peoples enjoyment of the event. But I can't enjoy the events anymore.

I went 6-8 wks with out the drum and dance thing because of something like that. Then I said F**K IT, I am going to go and enjoy. And I did, and I do.

I used to avoid places cause certain people (exes) would be there. and folks told me "don't let them keep you out of your favorite bar!"
so I went in anyway and had a sucky time sometimes its just better to go somewhere else |
