The crisp cool air
Of this Friday morning
Clears my head
Brings me lucid thoughts

Answering my own questions of the day
Remembering
God takes and god gives

This day I will listen
I will take my heart back
And put it where it belongs
I think I moved to fast
Letting another hold it as their own

I will continue down the beaten path
Holding the hands of family and friends
On this beautiful day
It's where I belong
Tucked in the bosom
Of those who truly love me
