A million people surround me
family, strangers and friends
but I feel all alone inside
will these troubles ever end?

A broken heart, a broken home
so many things left unfinished
my outlook on finding some to love
I must admit is diminished

I have an angel who is four years old
she is the center of my world
everything I do, I do for her
for into this life she was hurled

My mind wanders into the future
what will tomorrow hold for me?
For today the rain is pouring down
and through the fog I can not see

But I have faith I am where I should be
and tomorrow the sun will shine
and what ever is meant to be
is what I will surely find

So tonight I will just close my eyes
take a deep breath and let it just be
for what will my tomorrow hold?
I shall just have to wait and see...

A tough place to be but tougher still for that little someone. I think she's probably pretty lucky when all's said and done.
