Not only do I believe in God and Jesus, but I believe that God gave us
the Bible to be a guide book, a manual of how to live our lives and a source of information concerning God's character. |

I do not follow the bible word for word. Generally yes, it teaches us
great morals. My point here is that I take those morals and apply them to my modern day life. The words of Christ has been passed from one person to another. Then was written into what we call the bible. (It was written in ancient Hebrew, a language no longer used.) So therefore the bible we read today was written to suit believers from centuries past. The word of Christ has since been rewritten in English (Or another language) so that we may read it today. Words from that time period are not the same as today and also many are lost in translation. The great stories are there, just read them to suit your life today. Just my opinion |
