Love’s Madness Parody
Like a bolt of lightening from out of the blue. There I sat In an unlikely room Surrounded by an essence, The source of which, I had no clue. ‘Till time rolled on And I found out --- It was you. My reaction to this Was downright strange, All my senses went up and wayyyy Out of range Of anything I’d ever known before. Well, I started to pace And walk the floor. The creator must have laughed At the view he had, Watchin’ and a’grin’in At the state, I found Myself in. “Who sits at work in a cubicle And ends up surrounded By the smell of horse sweat And leather, With a wiff of beer thrown in?” A DifferentKindof Wench Is the answer to that. It took two years To learn Into who I had tapped. All along, Holy Crap, It was you! Well, now I know And I’m thankful that I’m really not "Cra--zy" as a loon. “Gravitational Pull” Works its magic And the end of this Is anything but tragic. As we wound up In a love, “Like Johnny-n-June”! There, Johnny Cash, I did it will ya get outta my head now with that "Boy named Sue - how do you do?" A bit of, "Boy Named Sue" mixed and mingled, with "Spiders and Snakes" and "Mississippi Squirrel Revival" rhythms. |
