Life exists without texting so people should think about it before they take their life or innocent lives for a few words on a phone.

Video is a bit overly dramatic, I think personally there are other things we should look at first...some of the laws against texting are really just foolish anyway, doesn't stop anyone from texting and cops rarely enforce the law. At least that is how it is in Illinois, same goes for talking on a phone while driving. Hey, why don't we just illegalize anything that lacks common sense, cushion the fall better?
Or we can keep enacting silly laws so that the police have to teach the children instead of the parents... |

Yeah, pretty graphic but it is a real possibility. There is nothing so important to text that you must do so while driving. This applies not only to teens...I've seen grown folks who should know better not only texting, but doing a lot of other stupid things they should not be doing while they drive. Just selfish.

I think that the only thing that u should do y driving he is drive.ppl should just turn off their phones when driving. Agreed, phone off or at least ignored. Also no applying make up, trimming hair in rear view mirror (my mom has done this), map reading and the list goes on....changing clothes, getting something from a cooler in the back seat....no matter what size car or truck you are in charge of, it can be a lethal weapon. Just drive with all the attention that job deserves. Arrive safely and then do all that other stuff! "A time for every purpose under heaven". |

Actually today I was trying to get out on the main road and the driveway I was coming out of was from the bank. I was watching as those pulled in and 4 out of 5 were on the phone. I don't text at all my kids want even text me and expect me to text back. Have never learned how and don't care too. I will talk sometimes on the phone but very seldom and have bought a headset just in case....... Toooo many times the accidents now are from the phone either texting or talking on it...
