If I were to host a get together here at the lake, would there be any
interest?? This lake has 500 miles of shoreline. There are rentals all over it for Boats, SeaDoos, Canoes. Live music at Mangos on the water. Tiki Bar also at another stop on the water.For the fishermen it's Stripers,Bass,Catfish and Perch. Hiking Trails, Beaver Dam, Swimming. Dock with 13 slips. Camping in my back yard which is walking distance to the water. Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia |

give folks enough time to plan ahead.. yeah the 4th would be too busy
(airlines and roadways).. pick a date an announce it. We tried to do this once before for a trip to Vegas but no one took charge and it fell through... (I think.. maybe I just didn't get the final invite)..

They rent pontoon party boats here that are perfect for groups.
I have a little 2 seat fishing boat with an electric trolling motor for tooling around the cove. I have 1 Seadoo I can give people rides on but I can't let anybody take it alone. Too much liability. The grill is here,Campfire,I even have a spare 8 man tent for 1st come first serve. |

This will be a low expense trip so more people can come. You really
don't have to spend anything but for your own food. Depending on the numbers we can figure out the food situation later. We can always have a covered dish style and that way we dont end up with too much or not enough. Let's let the thread run for a while and see what happens..No charge for camping and I have most everything else needed here at the house. |
