Just wanted to let people here that have children know to avoid getting them a virgin mobil phone. With the plan you get access to the Mobile Lounge. It's like a chat & blog area that you can only access with a VM phone. Their are some nice people there, but there are also a ton of predators, pedophiles and perverts. There's one profile listing a 13 year old female who's Profile pic is her Vag & she's offering pix for $10.00 Top-ups for the Phone. Most have given up reporting this kinda thing since they don't do anything to stop stuff like this from happening. The US Attorney General was sent several e-mails on this, 20/20 has been contacted too. But the filth continues. Just wanted to warn parents. There's enough disgusting crap ou there without making it easier for children to access.

You have to have a virgin mobil phone to access the stuff I'm talking about. If you get the phone go to virgin XL and then go to the mobil lounge from there its that simple. Why, are you looking for a ped, pred or perv?

My tagline will not be used here, tooo serious to joke about.

Good people are already dropping virgin mobil because of this and they don't even seem to care that they're losing customers.

Ohhh okay so your saying that you go there then.........Hummm why would I look for perv or predator when most the time they find you turn the site into the right authorities and do it the right way. Get that stuff looked into so they can get rid of it.

This is why the Google lawsuit victory is a reason to celebrate. If we hit the basterds in their pocketbooks, they may clean up their acts. be seeing you

You don't have to go out of your way. Once you're there and you click Discover you can see everyone that's on-line at the time. Is there a reason you want me to draw you a picture and explain exactly how to find this stuff?

Hummm all I said if this is fact then why not turn them in myself I care nothing for that type of stuff and would not go there anyway. Honestly I believe that parents should check those things out prior to getting their kids devices that they can not block those sort of things if not then they should not have them. Plan and simple...

Just trying to help parents out. If they're here then they're probably single and could use some help. I stated clearly that others and myself have turned in this one particular person numerous times and have turned in others too. Nothing is done. I also stated clearly that attempts have been made to contact the US Attorney General and nothing has been done. 20/20 has been contacted too. They may be the only ones doing anything but they aren't going to publicly advertise that they are going after pedophiles and pedophilia.

Virgin mobile has been being purchased by Sprint.

another reason to avoid it.

Well I do not remember there being any rule of it being mandatory that a child needs a cell phone to begin with. This is something that parents themselves should be taking responsibility for. Obviously if the site is what you say, some of those kids are not mature enough to be having a cell phone to begin with, and their parents are not monitoring their use closely enough at all. We cannot expect the whole world to safeguard our children for us. We are adults and chose to have children and should more than accept the responsibilities associated with having them. Do not get me wrong, I do not think it should be allowed by the companies, but no matter what happens in this world... everyone needs to be responsible for themselves and their own.

Virgin Mobile has always been somewhat of partners with Sprint since their beginning as they used the Sprint network for their phone services. Which is why Virgin Mobile service will not ever be any better than Sprint service because they use the same exact network... which is not that great. I will never use Sprint or any of their affiliates.

I would suggest T-mobile, with the t-go option or whatever it called. It's a prepaid plan like virgin mobile, but I like it better because T-mobile uses a sim-card, while virgin mobile(or sprint) uses a different technology.

If you ever want to replace your t-mobile phone, you could get a new one (unlocked) phone on ebay and just simply relocate the sim card from the old mobile phone.

Plus your minute purchases are good for a year, even if you never use it.

Virgin has similar, but again, no sim card (built into the phone) and while being cheaper than T-mobile, their phones are less of a quality, which matter to me more.
