I know I havent...... I have known a few that are truely in love, however we do forget that we should accept people for who they are as a person not what their religion or culture does as a group. I am in no way a bible thumper, just used the verse for example. I dont know if i believe in God, but does that mean i cant fall in love with a man that might prove me wrong? To adapt is not to conform, but to become a new part of something bigger. Where I live interracial couples are the norm. And we live in the middle of southern bible belt america. |

I've dated all different kinds of ethnic groups. Never gave a damn one way or another. Why should it? I've never understood humanity's predilection for prejudice on the most absurd grounds. LOL, give an instance of prejudice on validated grounds.  I don't think it's prejudiced to not date out of your race, it's a personal choice, some are into it, some aren't. Some people are more comfortable with their own race, some are willing to try other things. I don't care what other people do as long as it doesn't affect me. One instance: I'm thinking if I see someone wearing a Nazi uniform or a Klan sheet, I will immediately dislike that person intensly. |

Many towns to this day have sundown laws that prevent minorities or mixed couples with in city limits after sundown. It can be small towns or even some cities and not necessarily just in the south. I have had my food spit in, refused service, refused medical care, run off the road, had a gang of women jump me an " brillo" my skin for dateing "their" men, vandelize my car, burn crosses on my lawn, harass me on the phone, feed my children things they knew would send thim to the hospital, lawyers refuse to process adoption, and or child support papers, a hospital require me to produce a birth certificate to visit my own child, and a employers refuse to hire my husband or I because we have a multi race multi-culture family. That is sad beyond belief... My condolences. |

Personally I prefer my same race, not that people of another race can't be fun and cool to hang out with, I just find girls of the same race as me to be the most attractive.

I don't think race matters at all, the colour of your skin doesn't determine who your soulmate is. I have dated black and asian girls and although we didn't go as far as marrying the race thing was never an issue.We fancied eachother, we loved eachother and thats why we were together. Having said that, the asian girl i dated, she was gorgeous, was a sikh and her family were not at all pleased about it.
