Tell ya what I think Guys who "only" like skinny girls..and not like "women" in general (which would be me - I have no preference big small)..those kinds of guys are the ones who, typical are also attractive, yes?, we are talkin about the attractive guys right? Yeah...so anyways...those attractive guys are worried about what THEY will LOOK like NEXT to that girl bottom line Real men, like myself.......we are more concerned with how we can make ourselves feel around the girl. So their body size doesnt really matter I am a bigger, plus-size girl - size 24. I have dated VERY attractive guys.... So, I have to somewhat disagree with what you have said. lol I am still trying to figure out your theory, regarding BBW and "Plus size" being different. lol I'm wondering at what size a woman leaves "plus size" and enters "BBW" classification. lol To me, it's simply choice of words. I tend to refer myself as "plus size", as I prefer the term over "BBW", i've never really thought the two to be different. I will agree, you can be "plus size", yet not be considered "BBW". I wouldn't, personally, consider a size 14 "big". But, I guess others may think otherwise.. |

Im actually trying to design a kind of clothes for petite plus size women. It is so hard for me to find clothes, i am 5'4" and clothes off the rack have to be altered to fit me so unfair and costly. Clothes off the rack don't fit most people. I don't know who is cutting patterns now days but the quality of clothing is going to the dogs. Regardless if you pay low or high prices. |

Somewhere I read that the Average woman was 5'6", a size sixteen pants, B cup bra, Medium or Large top, size 8 shoe and a size six ring. I have yet to meet that woman in all my years of shopping, sewing, or selling retail. lol
I have always considered BBW woman to be size 18-20 which computes to 1X or above, C cup or larger,and over 5'10". I always have computed the beautiful part of that sequence to be a woman who regardless of her size cares about her grooming and hygeine so that she has a feminine appearance. Not necessarily specific commercial good looks. There are some women who are considered Petite but the term BBW sometimes defines a woman who is only petite in height while larger in the other ratios. Sometimes they are considered Petite Plus. My thing has always been to say LABLE JARS NOT PEOPLE! |

We all have our terms for how we look, so people who call themselves athletic looking i would consider otherwise. Its all in perception and how we view ourselves when we look in the mirror. Plus size, chunky, fat, big, bbw, husky, big boned, all are terms to describe being over weight. While in the same breath slim, slender, athletic, petite, average, are all terms that are used for someone of normal weight to height ratio. |
