Two things happened today that have made me the happiest guy around.
1. My kids called me today. It's the first time I'd heard from them in several months. Now they have internet connections, they told me they'd contact me as often as possible. 
2. My brother called me to let me know that my niece had had a baby girl August 3. That was great as it's the same day as my daughter was born.

My happiness is nothing compared to yours, congrats, I'm sure your kids are the most important aspect of your life. My kids mean the world to me after my marriage broke up in 2003. I've lived by myself since and hadn't heard from them since last October. I caught my ex in bed with my ex best friend, and I was devastated. But thanks to the friends I have here on Mingle, I've managed to maintain a level balance of sanity. Although there maybe some who wouldn't agree with that.
