Well, depending on who you ask, you can get any answers you are really seeking. What recent president HASN'T been denounced? There's always something wrong to find if one tries. I didn't vote for him, don't want him there, but it sure is too soon to see if he'll make any positive changes for us. And, to his credit, he had a pile of crap to sift through. It's what he does with it all that will count.

that pile of crap to which you refer is of his own manufacture..

The title of this thread is " Majority of Americans Losing Faith in Obama."

I don't even know one person (that voted for him) off-line that feels that way.

he trying to get things going but it hasnt even been a year. Its not realistic 2 think everything will b fixed by now. Nobody else could have done that. So why expect him 2? Give him a chance, this time next year it'll b clear if he doing tha right things or tha wrong things.

I'm still happy that Bush is gone and we don't have McCain/Palin.

Even people in Bush's own party were throwing him under the bus as soon as Obama was sworn in. What does that say about "party loyalty"?

so how about we give the man the respect and the chance he's earned by being elected President

Unfortunately, he did not earn a thing. MSM and special interests bought his ticket.
Smooth talkin' BS will only get you so far.
There were other much more qualified and Patriotic choices available.
Let's just hope he will just sit back and slide through the rest of his term without causing much more damage than he already has.

Deserves repeating^^^

you got it, Toyota. They (He, Obama) accused the bank of racially discriminatory lending practices and the case was settled out of court. Rather than being dragged through the courts, the banks decided it was easier to take on a "few" loans they knew would be defaulted on than to face the lawsuit after lawsuit from ACORN and their ilk under the Clinton Justice Department..

this directle resulted in the upstart of a whole new class of loans that HAD to be made (or face endless lawsuits) for the sake of the poor getting loans on houses everyone knew they couldn't afford..

What was the result? The housing market crashed, despite repeated calls from Republicans in Congress (McCain amoung them) and the White
House to reign in the dangerous practices of Fannie and Freddie who became clearing houses for subprime loans and were given political cover by Barney Frank, Maxine Waters, Nanci Pelosi, et al..

I think there was plenty of sitting around and doing nothing the last 4 years. Taking action gets things done, not just hoping the problem will go away

And, if you don't mind, I might add, change is alway ALWAYS difficult. There will never be a change done that does not have resistance even if it is just fear of the unknown that makes the fight against the change.

The Healthcare reform angst is partly due to this fear. Of course the other 90 percent is due to propaganda lies. Health care reform is needed in this country and a poor folks option needs to be added at the expense of the government.

The government needs to get involved in healthcare to regulate the cost to the citizens. But to hear the anti healthcare folks you would think this is the end of the world as we know it. It is not. But the fear of change is a strong fear.

Well, things did not get bad overnight, so I do not believe they will be corrected overnight either......

No kidding. It takes time. It will probably take longer then his 4 years.

He won't last more than 4 years.

True but he is making things worse. Seems to me that he should make things better in order to "fix" things

The folks who never supported or voted into his BS stayed pretty stable.
Where he has lost confidence is with the people who at one time were loyal but now are no longer blinded by his light.

I don't know any loyal supporters that are so weak minded they would stop supporting him after only 5 months, but that doesn't mean there aren't any. I just don't know one that has given up on this president.

You say at the added expense of the government. Where does the government get money from? Yep you guessed it, us, the taxpayers.
The biggest problem I have with Obama is that there are other problems besides healthcare that need to be addressed. You can't just keep borrowing, and printing money to through at problems in order to hope it will fix things.

One of the big things that seemed to start this was the banks and sub prime loans. Yet nothing has been done to resolve that. Yes they through billions of dollars at it to stabalize the banks so they would start loaning again, but they used the money to straighten out their books and haven't been lending.

I saw a recent poll that said housing is turning around and more homes are being bought. Why because the prices of homes have dropped, and you can get a $8,000 dollar rebate. Again throwing tax dollars (dollars we don't have mind you) at the problem. Last I heard forclosures are still on the rise and will probably contine to rise as long as unemployment continues to rise.

There are others but I need more coffee and have to get ready for work.

People being nervous in a time of recession is normal. As long as they do not buy into the "blame Obama for it all" that seems to be going around and realize that this recession started way before he got elected.

Obama is trying to fix what is wrong in this country. He is not trying to take us down as is being portrayed by the nay sayers. He will not be able to fix everything by the end of his term because recession usually lasts longer than a presidential term.

Everyone seems to want to blame someone for the down fall but if they want to lay blame they need to look at our last president. We are reaping what he sowed now.

I love it !!...he's trying...well...he's made EVERYTHING WORSE !!...hes a fuggin' disaster...check the debt...check the number of pepole on food stamps...check the number of people on unemployment...over 3 million more people out of work since he's taking over...last month...650,000 people signed up for food stamps...over 34 million now getting food stamps...the most EVER !!..he's added 1 trillion dollars to the national debt in 6 months...it GWB 2 1/2 years to do the same...I'm sick of this " he's trying "...stuff...no country has ever taxed or spent it's way into prosperity...NEVER !!...he says.." I'm closing Gitmo "...it's still open...he says " I'm ending the war in Iraq "...we're still in Iraq...what this guys needs to figure out is " words mean things "...he says one thing and does another...he's a typical Liberal...good intentions...he's trying...all that crap means nothing if...the end result is a disaster !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
