As Dark as Night
As Light as Bright

Only few know what it is
We wonder like little kids

It seems to be a secret
no need to have a fit!

Just accept as it is
It is all hers or his

It walks and glides and really quickly moves
It hulks and strides and there are no clues

It is a mystery indeed isn't it
like an old tree that has seen a bit

Whatever it is we should think about it
However it is we would have to just sit

and wonder how much can you take of this
not knowing and being at loss or at miss

It can be whatever you want it to mean
Yet to me it is exactly what it seems

something imaginative, creative, and unique
of all things it something we do write and speak

can you guess what it could be
can't you just realize and see

that it is whatever you want it to be
I am still waiting as I sip on a tea!

as you lay in your bed trying to sleep
and get frustrated and want to weep

not knowing what it is that is so interesting
keeping your mind busy and almost fizzling

that it is something we are given to enjoy
like a little kid playing with his new toy

Our life is lived in such great fascination
because the answer to it all is I-M-A-G-I-N-A-T-I-O-N !
