Maybe Obama should have purchased one and a half B2 bombers instead of stimulateing the auto market.
The first 20 B-2 bombers cost $2.2 Billion each. Because money spent on research and development are sunk costs, additional bombers would cost a mere $690 million each, according to the manufacturer. The Air Force, however, estimates the full cost (including operations and maintenance costs) of each new B-2 at approximately $1.5 billion. Blah blah we give Israel 2.3 billion in aid every year, give aid to US workers and Industries and the right wing starts foaming at the mouth. What a joke. That was never brought up here and is totally off topic. I haven't seen anyone say that was needed either (because it's not). One waste of money does not justify another. And this is not aid to the worker, this is a very inefficient transfer of funds to the corporations and a couple months of work. There is no long-term benefit and no long-term help here. It's just a complete waste of money.  I was just as pissed at Bush... unfortunately, that is the past and unless you have some marvelous f*cking time machine... that cannot be changed. I'm dealing with the here and now, and still pissed You, however, are completely ok with all this even though it's the same irresponsibility that we had under W. But, since it's your guy, there's not a word from you bad about it. I judge both sides equally... you, however are showing hypocrisy with every post you make. |

My car wasn't accepted for the program.  I tried to turn in my neighbors clunker but they said I couldn't do that.  JK  All this negativity in here is starting to make me goofy...

well i wonder what the broke people will have available when they need to buy a used call in a year or two program is going to be hurting the poor l There's cars all over the place for sale. Good try but not true here a least. In fact there are serval guys in my neigborhood buying clunkers and fixing them up for resale. And the used car lots are full of cars. Of course they gouge the hell out of the people buying them but that never stopped them before this. |
