Yesterday I got a Liz Claiborne designer purse brand new, an $80 purse I got for $2!!!! It makes me giddy!

Ive had many bargains over the years...including...

An Armani wool sweater for £1 (Dollars r about 1.60 to the £)
A G-Star belt, worth £45 that i got for £4
A Karen Millen jacket for £2
A billabong jacket for £2
A web cam with all accessories (headphones, mic) for £3

My latest bargain...i like decorative plates, and i found a set of Designer limited edition plates which i found on the bradford exchange. It was a set of 3, different goddesses from the Egyptian era.

They were originally priced at £5 each, and they had been reduced to £2 each, and i haggled and got them 3 for £5. I later looked up the bradford exchange and discovered that they were worth around £35 each!

I bought a Shovel one time for 50 cents....

Found a nice pair of Vaurnet sunglasses and a Coach handbag...

Hows about a laptop for 35 bucks only 2 years old? i think that was a good find, that and a martin guitar for 40 bucks.

It is like a treasure hunt when you go to these places. You may have to dig for the bargains, but sometimes you come up with some pretty amazing deals and stuff.

Like the saying goes. Another man's junk is another man's treasure.

thats all I wore growing up was second hand and thrift store stuff, if it werent for those I woulda been naked. Love them? Didnt have a choice.

You may not of had a choice growing up. But what about today? You are grown and able to make your own choices. Do you like treasure hunting in them? Have you ever found any deals?

My mom goes to them all the time, she's found some good deals on jewelry.

If I need a pair of cheap work pants, or to shirts to ruin, but no. it is only out of desperation.


I wear my new clothes only for a period, but never for them to get worn much at all. I always buy new. I insist apon the look of new clothes.

It used to be fun to find new or newer stuff as a kid, but it just brings back memories of having nothing, and being dirt poor. Ah, no thanks lol.

As a teen they were great for grunge wear, and granny dresses I wore, but that was the only time I found anything that was a fashion I would wear.

Reading back, you know that IS WIERD about the Liz purse. I love them, and for some reason they always end up in thrift shops.

I picked up some beautiful antique picture frames & a cuckoo clock that was hand crafted w/ elaborate detail from Germany.Awesome finds.Some yard sales are definitely worth stopping at also.U never know.Godspeed!Cy

I'm watching an antiques show at the moment,funny the things people class as antiques!

I wouldn't be a bit surprised to find someone pawning off Big~M happy meal toys as classics/antiques on E-bay.

OMG I have found a thrift store that on Wednesdays they sale everything for 25 cents it is all clothes shoes belts ect. I have gotten so many items it is unreal all designer name brand and they look brand new many items have never been washed it is unreal the things I have found.

Oh me too me too!! I have this little place here, I love to go there. I found some of the sweetest little treasures. It's fun just spending time browsing.
