I have had an electronic kit for a few months though, but havent really sat down with them properly yet. Mainly because i dont get the time. But anyhow, i still wanna learn how to play. Just wondering the best way to go about it. Any drummers out there with some advice?

well, being a drummer of just over ten years, start with the basics, like general snare drum techniques and go from there. electric drum sets are great for starters in my opinion (i'm getting one myself soon i hope). but get some books on starter techniques, and learn the snare first, and then add some bass drum and go from there. if you pick that up easy, the rest should be really easy for you. good luck man, i hope it goes well for you. drumming is probably one of the funnest hobbies i've ever picked up!!!

So paradiddles first, eh? (thats the only technique i can think of!)

That makes sense to learn the snare first. Although i think its going to be the coordination of all my limbs that i will struggle with the most.
