Topic: How about a blind date... | |

Jeez that sounds fun. If I were close to you, I might have actually considered that. I love going to the races and watching how fast those things can go.
I have seen jet cars, and funny cars.. even jet, funny cars. AWESOME!! Here in Texas I had some really good seats one time in the building overlooking the race, and then when the jet engines started it shook the windows in the building, and we could feel the heat from the back on the glass from the inside! WHAT A RUSH!!! The races can really be fun! Talk about a neat date! Lotta excitement. |

I hope he keeps us updated on how many he had to pick from. Maybe we could take a poll and pick the one we think best suited?.....

well i'd give u one but i aint going to no macho speedway Are speedways macho or sicko (no offense meant here to any race fan - many of whom I know and like) cause as a fan - isn't there a lot of thrill in the accidents? I know there is much more to it than that but....in all honesty - isn't the wreck a thrill and part of why you watch. I hope I am wrong - convince me! |

...to the Sharpie 500? This Saturday, August 22. I have a spare ticket and would hate to go by myself. Pretty good seats, 23 rows up, turn four. If you wanted to go, just stop by my profile and drop me a line. I want to try to get to know you a little bit before going, so maybe we can talk on the phone first for a little to see if we will click. This is not a contest, this is a special opportunity to get to know me in a fantastic setting - Bristol Motor Speedway!!!! I'm the only person I know who likes NASCAR so I would like to meet a girl with like minded interests. Hope to see you there! Wow this is great! I love football!!! |

Fans live vicariously through the drivers. |

Thx for the kudos - I always wanted to go to the night race - I grew up watching CART racing and loved the Indianapolis 500. This is the real thing tho - even if this doesn't work, I know I will have fun!
