I do not understand,
why this longing
grips me so.
Read the heart
that shares these words,
A long cool drink
My soul.
I do not understand, tonight,
as you look upon
these pages,
When you read how open
these honest hopes
engage in.
Oh, just to touch along,
the nape of what is worth,
Just to hold me gentle,
Know this love gives birth,
To only, which is meant
to keep you through this night ,
an arduous and winding
this road to love,
content.
