Does it matter what a person does for employment when it comes to deciding to date them? Do they need to be employed? Does it matter? Yes it does. I'm never gonna date another hooker again. They are always working. |

I think if people love what they do for work they are much more pleasant to be around.

I agree with many people here, that should be able to take care of themselves financially. I don't agree "a job is a job". I have a standard of living that I would not, and I'm being honest, be involved with someone who worked at McDonalds. I wouldn't want to support anyone, and would not anyone to support me. jmo

That and this job is just here until I can get started in IT, honestly, a job is a job...as long as they have one I'm not really concerned about supporting them. They have afterall done fairly well before I showed up. |

Does it matter what a person does for employment when it comes to deciding to date them? Do they need to be employed? Does it matter? No, as long as they can pay everything... have no problem if the guy is a hobo... |

Does it matter what a person does for employment when it comes to deciding to date them? Do they need to be employed? Does it matter? It depends, if they are unemployed because they were laid off due to the economy then yes. If their unemployed because they don't feel like working then no. And doesn't matter what job they have. |

Honest work is honest work and has value, regardless of what it is.

Reading this makes me feel crappy. I a'm disabled, can only do some jobs and with unemployment so high...
well. It has taken the fine folks at Social Security over three years to get my hearing later on this month. Does that mean I should quit tring to find female companionship? Ron |

Ron Ron...did you work as you were able and would you work now if you could? Circumstances sometimes dictate situations that are less than ideal. It's the heart and work ethic behind the situation that matters. Don't feel crappy... |
