What is the big deal with the quality of a man and his height. I'm 5-8 and workout, have a good job but yet I am consistantly being commented too about my height in a negative manor.

5'8 is not a bad height, I say don't worry about it as long as your happy with your height.

Im happy with what I am, just seems that lacking a couple inches in elevation somehow ideals me to less than adequate. Just dont understand the relationship between height and quality........

Everybody has preferences, although I don't think 5' 8" would be considered short. But yes, some women want a tall man. Some guys want big breasts. Some women don't like hairy chests. Some guys don't like hairy chests.

I'm left confused with heights anymore. I'm 5'8 and do want someone taller then me. But the few guys I've met in person that are supposed to be taller aren't. I don't necessarily think they're lying, as I've seen a few drivers licenses or military and it says they're that height.

Why worry about something you can't change? Work with what you have.

5'8 is on the shorter side for a man, I prefer taller..but hey if all the other qualities were there it wouldn't matter.

some women like taller men, just like some men like shorter women. it's all about preferences. find a woman who doesn't mind you being short, and bingo, problem solved.
