Those were the days!!!

What exactly constitutes a date these days? Cause the way I recall 'em, the man asked the woman out, an it usually was a movie an dinnner. Haven't been on one of those since electricity became popular.

Recently on my trip I had a date with a guy I met on another site in Rapid City. He showed me all the sights and then took me to Sturgis on his motorcycle.. and then to a mexican restaurant where the food was great! Had a wonderful time...

Last sunday... driving range, ice cream - and good conversation... I enjoyed myself, and her company... we have talked on the phone a few times after...

I wandered into the middle of a chariot race and was almost run over !

Last date was a mix of traditional and functional

In a nutshell: Furniture shopping, Dinner, movie.


Longer version:

We both needed furniture so we made a shopping date. We went to a discount furniture store (and many other stores as well) and I insisted we try out all the beds! (what??? he needed a matress too lol) Our stomachs were begging for food so we went to a Mexican restaurant. Delicious (and HUGE!!!) plates of food.

Later we ended up going to a movie theater that I had free tickets to ( free! ) but the movie had already started so we ran and drove about 20 minutes to another theater. "The Ugly Truth" is what we saw and it was worth the trouble! Funny movie and very true. Overall it was fun
