Topic: Percocet is G-O-O-O-O-O-O-D!!! | |
---|---|
I was at work on Wed and tried to move a piece of equipment that was overloaded and felt a little "twinge" in my neck. I figured it was going to be okay when I got home and rested.....nuh uh!!
When I woke up this morning, I couldn't even roll out of bed!! My daughter had to braid my hair so I didn't have to pin it up at work. She had to come with me while I drove in so she was my eyes (I know, not a good thing driving while you can't move) and I even tried to do my job for as long as I could. I told my boss I needed to see the nurse for an ice pack.....and the nurse was not in tonight.....so I ended up in the hospital getting x-rays and stuff. It winds up my muscles were in such a spasm that my neck was no longer curved, my spine was pin straight. So got me some good stuff to take the pain away!! |

Percocet and Oxycontin are basically the same drug
thhe dif is percoset is a lower dose with an over the counter pain reliever mixed with it and they do not help me hardly at all (vicodin work better for me which is not very well) hope you get to feeling better soon |

Yeah, that's what they gave me as my take home pain killer when I crashed my motorcycle. But the morphine they gave me at the hospital was even better.

The combo is pretty good that they gave me......
Take home is the percocet, the skelaxin and motrin 800's......as long as I can brush my own hair I will be good. lol {{{{{adj}}}}} |

wish i could take percocet. i have such a tolerance because of so many injuries percocet is like taking vitamins now. i hear ya i am taking vicodin an addition to another pain med and anti inflammatory and have been for 10+ years if i get to sleep more t han 3 hours at a time i feel very lucky i was getting a hard time from a lot of (so called) friends and a doctor or too till i went in for a sleep study (because i could not sleep) and i had around 200 incidents of pain interruptions (an hour) per the sensors and some sleep apnea interruptions as well i guess they are different readings on the print out i still get crap from a couple people but hey that is their issue (i tend to stay away from negativity so i stay away from them to the best of my ability) after the sleep study and the discovery of the pain incidents they (doctors) have had me in for multiple mri and xrays (none of the docs give me a hard time now) a couple even said i do not know how you can even walk my answer usual is painfully but ya do what ya can till ya cant so if nothing else does me in the pain meds probably will eventually (i guess i got carried away sorry) but anyway hope you are feeling better Eileena hugz n stuff i would wish this on no one not even my worst enemy |

It is a strong pain reliever but safer than most pain medications. it works on the opiate receptors but is not opiate based. on top of it physical withdrawls are more or less non-existant. On top of it you do not get the buzz like you do with other pain medications. no groggy feeling just relief. also sleep is a deeper sleep. you may want to look into it. talk to your doctor to see if it is an option. |
