This reminds me of a Friends episode I just saw last night. Chandler constantly said this, "Had fun, I'll give ya a call and let's do it again some time". They tried to make him see that if you don't intend to, don't say it. I guess it's hard for some to just say, "thank you, goodnight", so it's likely that they don't want to be mean.

Same reason anyone does, they lack the ability to be honest. Be glad they did you a favor.
UNLESS hes has other things going on, and he will call you when he can. Just like when you have something going on. |

maybe they mean to call but they lost your number/forgot to call/the dog ate the piece of paper they wrote it on/they fell asleep or they're just jerks. one of those.

its like the recent one I got...asked a guy when he come to see me at work to say hi if we were hanging out when I got off work. He said text me to see if Im awake. He had no intent on being awake..why didnt he just say so?
