Honestly I think when we (women) seem too eager they don't want to call us because theres no challenge involved. It's like a god who would be walking on earth and saying, "I would like to make some speeches and turn some wine into Napoleon Cognac to gain some followers, but I'm afraid people would then reject me because there would be no challenges in believing in me." (It actually is happening this very way, it seems.) *So you're right, I'm afraid I have to admit, and have been from the word "go", (i.e. "let there be light") despite how my opinion at first was intended to be a snide, cynical comment to teach you a lesson in Life 101. |

This reminds me of a Friends episode I just saw last night. Chandler constantly said this, "Had fun, I'll give ya a call and let's do it again some time". They tried to make him see that if you don't intend to, don't say it. I guess it's hard for some to just say, "thank you, goodnight", so it's likely that they don't want to be mean. and then rachel says, i've never had that happen to me; they always call! Yep! Dontcha hate the b!tch that always chimes up with that one?! LOL, i had a friend like that. they always called her. They was I, and she hung up on me each time as soon as I managed to get out the first few phonemes of "hallo". I never even once got to "hello". This was as close as I ever got to "well hung". (Is this kosher to say on this site? I am new here, I don't want to break rules, but the phrase was begging to be said.) |

Some possible explanations.
1. They might have been interested at the time. Then changed their minds later because of any number of possible reasons. They met someone else that they liked better. They were married or have a significant other. Not ready for a relationship. 2. Getting a woman's number was simply an ego boost. 3. Poor manners. Don't have the courtesy to be upfront. |

sometimes people don't think and say what they think you want to hear. I have said, "I'll call you later." and didn't. I think I intended to, but life happens. Sometimes, we don't call because we get cold feet, or there is the miscommunication. OF course, the liars and players are always there in the mix too. I think if they don't call then it is probably for the best, in the long run.
