You would cry if i told you..

It used to be a pint, a turkey leg and a pile of straw to sleep on for the night (not necessarily fresh).

I was a homeless 14 year old kid. Now I provide housing for low to moderate income people. Yep, love my job!

I do sleep in urine covered hay, but thats my own choice rather than how i get paid.

It's my calling... I love what I do for a living, have wanted to do this type of thing as a child... every step during my professional life has been to be working in my current field... not a week goes by where I don't say "damn, I cannot belive they pay me $$$ do to this!!"... now, I have even found an organization that help people AND I get to do what I love... "I love this ****!!!"....

Well I have a degree in Psych and work for a newspaper, so I guess in a wierd way they tie together, I have had worse jobs in my life!!!

That is FABULOUS that you love what you do.....

My job used to be quite interesting- there was an almost-constant change of scenery with each job... it was challenging... and the money used to be pretty decent.

But then a former-President signed NAFTA into law, which essentially resulted in all of my work leaving for cheaper foreign markets. With that came a substantial downturn as far as the number and quality of work out there.

Now most of my jobs are nothing more than exercises in futility, anguish, and exacerbated bad tidings toward those in upper management, who clearly don't have a clue as to do their jobs.

If I didn't have family in the business (who I'm currently helping keep THEM out of the poorhouse), I woulda gotten out a long time ago.

I enjoy what I do, however I don't love my current job. So, right now, it's just a job.
