I do not take a lunch and I never turn my work in late. And I certainly don't take home court property.

But thanks for the dig.

slaphead I'm serious!!
We have to work so damn hard that we don't even have time to look at a computer, much less use one.
And duty/pager calls every 2 minutesexplode

As for dude,, Maybe he is just intimidated by cute brunettes!!

But haven't you noticed the attitudes of most doctors with non patients.

Even God thinks he is a surgeon!!laugh

How do you like getting feedback at work? Are you the sensitive type? How do you give feedback?
....I'm banned from giving feedback to coworkers under me. They usually end up in the hospital.

I work with psychologists. In a court clinic....

My grandfather was a surgeon. This dude is a PhD student at a university. He is just a misogynist.

As all of you know, I'm pretty blunt. I seem to have gotten a sensitive wanker here, and he argues, lies, and is defensive.

I tell him things four to five times, even things I've written out for him. He acts as if it's the first time he's heard it when I bring it up. Or, he argues with me. I even caught the dude with court property at his home.

I sent an e-mail to him and the other new person, covering issues with both.... in a very broad manner.

His replies are so bad I don't think I can talk to him anymore.

It sounds like he is trying to put off his "slacking and lack of ability" on you. By making you feel like you are riding him he can shift the focus off of him and make you question yourself. If you are delivering feedback in a professional manner his response should be professional.

I agree with you there, has been my experience on more than one occasion to meet people with a degree in psychology and know them personally as well and wondered how they managed the degree.

Thanks!

He continues to try and act like the whole thing didn't occur... but he must know by my attitude that I'm no longer willing to assist him and have him treat me poorly as a result.

It's sort of sad actually. I'm terse yet civil. But, as I said before I'm now in the zone of reciprocity. I take my job seriously and ultimately, he's not my responsibility. Therefore, he's not my problem.

He has nothing on the schedule today, and my boss isn't here. He tried to ask me questions earlier.... I told him to ask his supervisor.

My feedback from supervisors is quite limited.
I take a proactive approach and ask my coworkers if there are any issues with my work(which directly impacts their work) that they feel need to be addressed.
I check in with them every Friday morning.

Mind you I said "have known some" I am sure there are people that have a degree in psychology who don't actually need it. Just curious, why are you thrilled that you don't have one?

BTW...I am no Donkey expert but I would assume they eat hay...

This is a common theory... and I agree with it 80% of the time.

I see, I thought it was just my theory, nice to know I'm not always in the left field.
