Rejection Your turned away Not wanted Not needed Your heart bursts A flood of self pity Wondering why You thought You were The "it" girl For the day But not Everybody Liked you Not everybody Loved you And it hurt And it crushed And it blinded you To the talents Of others Because you were Told You had None of your Own Let me hold you Wipe off that Rejection And fill you With all the Acceptance I Can Muster For I love you Tammy
