yea you did. in your "sometimes i wonder..." thread you were asking if we know what "being treated right" would be like... and in this one you are asking what "the one" would be like. i'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer but i'm seeing some similarity here  but you're adorable so i'll forgive it  as i said in the other thread, "the one" would be my best friend for life (and male of course). Actually...they are two different questions. The first one related to treatment and whether or not people know, in their own minds, the meaning of being treated right. Or whether they just think that ' Better than last time, no matter how marginal ' is " right ". This one is more about the qualities because it would pretty much be a given that " The One " is going to treat you right. okie if you say so  Yer lucky I like you.

I was just reading through another thread...and someone pointed out that there are always a boatload of people asking why they can't find " The One ".... But no one ever asks how to BE " The One ". So now...I am asking. Ladies and gentlemen, please tell us how someone could be " The One " for you. Try to refrain from falling back on words like ' respect ' and stuff like that. We already KNOW that. Try to be specific. What would make someone be " The One " for you? He's honest to a fault...so brutally, it causes a physical pain. He's accepting of who I am exactly as I am. He sees me...the beauty, the contradictions, the joyousness, the love, the craziness, the wildness...and the mellowness...and he accepts all of it. He is fiercely passionate about EVERYTHING, from the state of our beaches, and our environment, to finding the exact lyric, chord, nuance to a song he is writing...to well....everything... He is tolerant of my incessant questions and wonderings, and ponderings and need to know everything NOW. He has a crackling energy that sucks the air from a room when he enters it...I can't breathe when he looks at me ...(that way). He knows everything about me, even when I am completely clueless. He's cried, he laughed, he worried, he's raged.......... against me, with me, and for me. He never gave up on me, even when I had. And he knew instantly...the first time we locked eyes... That's how I know he is the One. |
