afternoon Linda!!!
 grammy!! doing good! Had to shut my computer & things down for awhile.....we had some severe storms come thru!!!! Thank goodness we didnt get what the town 40 minutes away got....they had BASEBALL SIZED hail, 70 mile winds......we just got some rain & lightning.....we musta been on the edge of that storm! |

ya, they interrupted my movie, OF COURSE, & it was VERY close......and it got very dark & windy here........and im glad we didnt get the worst of it!!! It didnt sound pretty!

Yeah! I hear ya! I don't like thoes kind of storms either. Not scared of them since I have been raised with em but I DON'T like to see em coming to me!!! Expecially thoes BANK clouds!!! Thats what makes me

Its still thundering around alittle......we must still be under a warning or something.......but at least its not black out......unless it gets worse......im staying online!!!!

I do the same thing. I will stay till I see the first lightening. Then i'm off!!!...The thunder won't getcha, its that BLASTED lightening!!!....

Stopped and got chicken after church and ate it at my sisters house, come home and got online, and been here ever since....NOPE, don't think i've been busy at all....
...Yep, HOT!!! about 101 today. I said a cool front was coming....

abit......but now.....i think it jus made things more HUMID!!!! They said tonight its spose to get down in the 60's.....and tomorrow mid 80's......so I think i'll turn off my air later!

Must be nice to be able to turn your air off in August. Can't do that here! NO way!....We won't be turning ours off till end of Sept or first of Oct...

oh wow!!!!!!!!!
USUALLY......august is a BEAST......very HOT.....but this yr, we've had it pretty easy!!!!!!! Hard to believe!!!!!! by OCTOBER here..............its getting pretty brisk!!!!!

Well being only 9 days into August so far all but 2 in Ft.Worth has been over 100. We have been over 100 everyday. Always add at leat 2 to 4 to us in the summer and subtract 2 to 4 in the winter where we are.
 ..I woke up to 82 this a m.

They take the recorded temp at DFW airport. Its not as hot there.
..or as cold there.

MOST of the time not below freezing. But, we have had winters in the teens but NOT very often. We get ICE but it don't last but till about 10 or 10:30 a m and its gone. Hardly ever any snow at all. And if it does, its usually on top of the ice. We hardly ever have bad HARD winters at all.

I run my water at night in the winter time when its going to freeze and I think I only had to run it like total of about a week and a half all winter long. That was not straight. So the pipes won't freeze.

that would be a GREAT WINTER for us!!!!!!! we get TONS & TONS of snow & ice!!!!!! And temps are well BELOW zero!!!!!!!! |
