work out a two week notice when you leave a job?it's my first time seems weird.

Yes, just to be kind and considerate to past employer so they can find a replacement for you and plus you need them as reference when you look for a job someday. "Don't burn bridges" with any bosses or employers.. Several company will call your past employer about your performance. Good luck!flowerforyou

Yep, I always have and in most cases the employer I was fixin' to start working for appreciated the fact that I had the character to do so.

Even though I have been "laid off" from jobs over the years. I have always worked out my two week notice no matter how pissy the company or the bosses acted. I want to be known as a man of my word, even though the companies haven`t been good to their word most of the time.

its your responsability, to end your contract

it shows every new employer that your professonal

its the way we do things in buisness

unless you jump over the boss`s desk and kill him with a fountine pen
in wich case i think its policy to leeve straight away.

He's right you know...well, about the pen thing anyway.

Sure always have given a notice and have never been fired. To me it is best to leave on good terms if possible.
