Topic: nephew has eplilepsy

so i got worried that month 6 month old nephew its epileptic and hes gonna be a lil slow..my sister said he noticed his seizures and so did they day care.. they are at the hospital now and he will have to have a spinal tap done and they have him on a video recorder at all time and hes hooked up to all kinds of machines

Siezures are easily controlled by medication. Hope everything is ok.

Are they grand mal or petite mal seizures?? Either way there is help. I will hold your nephew and all of his family in my heart and thoughts. Keep us posted.

I hope its only petit mals...it's sad when little ones have grand mals. :(

she told me that the doctors dont know what kind or how bad they are yet she said they will be at the hospital for a minimum of 3 days.all they know its definite epilepsy

Awe, he looks like a little angel! My son just started having seizures, they were a possibility with his genetic disorder/syndrome, its a scarey thing to watch it and not be able to help. Sending lots of prayers your way.

Siezures are easily controlled by medication. Hope everything is ok. usually. hopefully this is one of those cases.
