I would like to express my thanks to Gayfifer (Edward) and SummerLady (Patti) who both put a smile on my face today (something I haven't been doing lately). It means so much to me knowing there are Angels who are not afraid to reach out to help someone who is struggling. Thank you all so much.

Wanda I want a cabbage roll! I so do not enjoy cooking and the whole cleaning up process afterward. Oh well, it must be done. I mailed out four packages today. One to Wanda, Mary, Lilbug, and Merle. Be on the lookout. Mary I will be mailing more books as I go through my stuff. I just don't have the room for them anymore. My daughter is finished and they will last in a classroom for as long as the children will take care of them. Teaching a child to read opens up an entire world to them. Reading is wonderful! Hugs and smooches to you all. I cleaned my bedroom and rearranged it so now I can actually get ready in my bedroom instead of taking up the bathroom in the morning. Three adult women in bathroom just wasn't working.

I'm going to be taking break for a bit to take care of some personal issues that need my attention. I do, however, have the names of 2 people who need us for September and I will be sending their names out to the Pals near the end of the August.

Good Morning Secret Pals

well my visitor has left and I am already missing him I hated to see him leave

I made a few of his favorite dishes while he was here...corn pie and baked brie.......first time for me cooking them as well as eating them....The corn pie came out a little dry but was edible and tasted good. The baked brie....OMG that was so good and I put it in a puff pastry and added some pecans and brown sugar to it....It was sooooo good, neither one of us could get enough of it...yummmmy

well back to work tonight....I really need to find a different job....just the thought of returning to that place makes me sick

My daughter and 3 of her friends are driving to Ocean City tomorrow. I trust her and the girls, but I have such a fear/dread of this trip for them. My daughter is 24, and has a good head on her shoulders, and I want her to have a good time, but I'll just feel a whole lot better when she's back safe and sound.

Good Morning to all. Just checking in. Survived the state fair yesterday. It was so hot and humid. We had a good time though. As if that wasn't enough torture we went shopping for several hours. lol
