Why thank you.....I think I'll choose the swing. Rock it with one foot and rest the other up on the seat. That cushion feels rather nice against my back. I've brought along a harmonica in case anyone plays. If not, we'll just pretend we can and have fun trying.

Ahhhhh, I can hear the neighbor kids down the street complaining because the street lights came on and their mom told them it's time to come in. Old Mr. Smith next door has his TV on too loud again too. And the owl in the tree is calling a sweet Hoot Hoot...........

Owls are cool (if your not a mouse).

Think I will just sit here and drink in some sunshine.

porch sittin, ahhhhhhh

I bought myself a porch swing this morning to go out on my deck and am sitting here listening to the Loons cry their mournful cry, soaking up the sun and sipping on some sweet tea....

It get's no better than this.....

Ain't life glorius!!!

Indeed it is...

And later on when the sun is setting I am going to go down to the lake and skip some stones...It's amazing how someone's post has sent me searching for things that were carefree and fun in my younger years....

Skipping stones was so much fun tonight....I even had a count of 9...

Okay, it's been lots of years and I am outta practice...

So now it's back to the swing with a cup of tea enjoying the moon and the night sky..

I am in the mood for a moon light swim. Then snuggle up in a blanket with a long legged man. Gal can dream.

There is nothing better then sitting in the swing.
Waiting to see what the night sky will bring.
Looking up at the stars.
As you look at each trying to find mars.
Yes it is peaceful and relaxing.
Just swinging and admiring.
A beautiful sunset at the end of the day.
Like and awesome painting that was sent our way.
When the end of the day is finally gone.
We can sit in that swing waiting for the crack of dawn.

A porch swing soooo relaxing and romantic.

i fell asleep in my hammock on the back porch last night. this morning a kitten was sitting sleeping under the hammock which doesn't seem wise considering how squished he'd be if it broke and i landed on him.
