Lashing out
Like a cornered beast
Refusing to be tamed
Or silenced
Or placed in a box with a pretty pink bow

Unprotected
Bare

And not be paralyzed by fear

How to coast the wave
Without judging the ride

How to be safe
And still live on the outside
