I want a stalker...  at least I will be getting some attention... Serious stalking like the op is suggesting is a definite problem, but fantasy stalking like I do is all in fun and not harmful. So on that basis, I am available for stalking you! How does Friday sound? I am booked up Saturday and Sunday and weekdays I need recuperating time from the other days!  sounds great to me...now what do I do... only one rule! A U.S. Justice Department report on cyber-stalking issued late last fall suggests that thousands of people may have already become its victims, although the report acknowledges that hard statistics on the crime are difficult to obtain. This is not some dry statistic . Each one who had/has this problem will tell you how serious is it. I'm a victim of a stalker who doesn't give up and he makes me feel terrible . I left all sites I like, I changed, blocked and reported all I can change, block and report but he finds me again and again . I changed everything like data, information and style about me but ... most of the new friends don't want to talk to me, taking me for some faker or scammer until they slowly slowly get me better . I know that this sounds crazy and foolish that someone can have such problem but this is really terrible for me and ppl like me .Not only me but he bothers my friends also . They stand by me but I don't feel well from all this . Have you been a victim of these ppl ? How you succeed to get rid of your stalkers and how do you react in these cases ? Being stalked, cyber or otherwise is scary at best and very dangerous. I am sorry to say that I don't have any helpful info for you, just wanted to say that I feel for you and wish you the best in ridding yourself of this menace. I agree. I've had stalkers, and it's quite creepy! :O |

cyber murder them? Admins of few sites banished him but he found way to back . Maybe we'll need in the future IP adress - block buttons .  They can block IP addresses till their heart's content. The problem is that it is relatively ineffective because of a couple of things. On dial up, their IP changes every time the log onto the net. Someone on a WiFi system....same thing. Unless they are on a system where the IP address remains the same for every login, blocking the IPs does no good. |

its someone close to you who can track you through your IP or connection.
if you have a dedicated data line such as cable or dsl... you'll always be findable, if he's savvy enough.. you need to make sure you often have your ip reassigned and so on. |

Cyber STalking is a very real and dangerous thing. I feel for you. I hope you can get it squared away so that you can feel safe again.
I have a "friend" that I gave my number to years ago that turned out to be a major wacko. Dude calls me randomly every few months and leaves messages about his latest paranoid conspiracy theory. I've seriously considered changing my number. It seems that at the time we all knew each other in a group online he must have been taking his meds or something. As it is now, he needs committed. |
