Oh you!
I now have to definitely see 4 more films! Sticks, Delicatesssen, Hangover and Star Trek!! Of course I liked Ned, Valentine, & Apt. Never saw Life is Beautiful or Water but they sound a bit emotionally demanding for me a this time... but I really wanted to see Hangover and the new Star Trek and have been too busy this summer to get to them. For french movies though, 4 on my short short list are Les Ripoux (My New Partner), La Cage aux Folles, Le Cadeau (The Gift), and L'Associe (The Associate).... Diva... Anyone who hasn't seen these will be in for a great treat.... http://www.amazon.com/Ripoux-Partner-REgion-French-language/dp/B00062U5X4 http://www.amazon.com/Cage-Aux-Folles-Ugo-Tognazzi/dp/B00005BKZP/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1250065975&sr=1-1 http://www.mooviees.com/68404/credits http://www.amazon.com/Associate-LAssocie-Mein-Partner-Davis/dp/6304381034 http://www.mooviees.com/4295-diva/movie |

Delicatessen (Dark Comedy - cult classic from France) I got to see Delicatessen on the big screen back in the 90's at Cinema 21(Portland, OR). Also from Jean-Pierre Jeunet- City of Lost Children. Hard to believe this same director also directed Alien 4. |
