Topic: How many serious relationships

Oh forgot to say my relationship 6 years ago was 5 years long...In my whole life I have had 3 long-term relationships period...Married and together for 10 years combined, another 2 year relationship and a 5 year one...That takes up 17 years of my life...DAMN no wonder I have been on a 6 year break!!!!!!!

s'pose I should have qualified things..I was married 17 yrs...divorced now 12 yrs..so 3 "serious" relationships in the past 12 yrs...although yes, jean..they are all serious..some maybe only for a day...but entered into as serious..

ok let me rephrase then.....in the last 5 yrs..... long standing engagement,. 2---- 1/2 yrs.. and 2 long term dating ones..... both lasted about 7 months.

Never had a serious relationship in my life. I have had some long-term girlfriends and we got along just fine, but we were never 'serious' about making any kind of life-long commitment out of our relationship. I can’t say that I’ve ever been ‘in-love’ and I have never even told a woman that I love her (romantically speaking). Not because I find those words hard to say. Not at all. But simply because I’ve never been in love to the point where I felt like naturally saying them.
