If Tomorrow

Should I try to find the words to say, the things I want to say.
Wonder if it could be the pain inside of me.

Just a time not long ago I found you waiting there for me.
I couldn't see your face, what what now I can't erase.

As paintings born from just a brush of faith, our time
begins though I'm afraid.

Why do things that seem so perfect flood my mind with what has been.
The loves once lost and failed, the times I've been derailed.

Every passing glance I make your way in hope of something new.
The longing just to be, the things you've been to me.

My life thus far has not been as I dreamed.
Then you arrived it starts again.

If i had a wisp of wind that I could give to show you love.
The trees would always show that love is all you know.

Though I see that I've been jaded I must learn to let that go.
Because I found you now, the past seems less somehow.

For what is love without a little rain?
It makes the sun seem much more bright.

Should I find the words to tell you what my life has now become.
Tomorrow could come true, with me beside of you.

All the things that only lived inside my dreams and in my mind.
I somehow seem to feel, that they're becoming real.
