Starting last evening every time I click on a link (Community etc) a box opens asking whether I want to 'run' or 'save'. After saving I can do one function, second function I get the box again...does anyone know why this started happening and what I need to do about it?
Thanks in advance for any help...needless to say I will have trouble getting to your responses

run and save only show up when downloading - not when changing pages.
I'd run a/v scan |

I have never seen a run/save windows application come up from this site. It very well could have been a pop-up which means if you clicked on anything you might have a virus/spyware/malware on your computer.
Do a virus scan and check your firewall settings. |

In the future you might get better help if you list the operating system you are using(windows vista or xp, or mac) and the browser(internet explorer, firefox, opera, safari, etc.)that can help a lot |

Guess I was hoping for a miracle in the form of a fast and easy fix, this machine is wonderful when it is doing what I expect of it...rather like a car. LOL Thanks again to all who tried to help. Didn't like the idea of losing this site one little bit! |
